DOWNLOADS: Winrar: www.win-rar.com (at the bottom) OR 7-zip: sourceforge.net Paint.net: paint.net OR Gimp gimp.org IF YOU CANNOT OPEN MINECRAFT.JAR You are not opening it with the right program. You can't just double-click, you have to right click and select "open with," then choose the .exe program you wish to use (this is outlined a little more under FAQ→C) I recommend downloading Winrar or 7-zip to do this. TO MAKE THEM SELECTABLE (zipped texture pack): Check out another tutorial I made: www.youtube.com ----------FAQ----------- A) Why can't I use paint? ---MSPaint does not support opacity (see-through stuff) so it just fills in all the transparent with white. Technically, you could use it, but doors, torches, rails, ladders, and everything else that doesn't take up the full 16x16 space will have white in the empty parts. I prefer photoshop, but you could use gimp or paint.net (both free). Just google these names.
