Dropdown Menu in Flash Catalyst CS5 - highly requested tutorial. i finaly decided to make this tut that has been requested a lot. this is rather complicated and requires a lot of attention, so listen and watch everything and you shouldnt encounter any promblems. you could also refer to the process in steps. Step 1 : Design in illustrator, photoshop or firewors Save and import to flash catalyst. Step 2 : convert all components into custom generic components and group unused leftovers. Step 3 : Make dropdown smaller in state 1 and add buttons and links in state 3. Step 4 : add overall interactions for states 1,2 and 3, finishing off with smooth transitioning.
